National Student Leadership

Hi, my name is Sade Korbieh, and I would like to raise money to go on an academic trip for the National Student Leadership Foundation. I would go to the University of Berkley in Calfornia. For 9 days, I would stay there and learn more about business and the ends and outs. I am a 10th grader in high school with a GPA of 3.8, and I also play school and travel volleyball.  I am also part of DECA which is a business program at my school.

By going to this program it would not only help me to get my foot into the world of business but also one step closer to going to my dream school. Berkley has always been the goal. They have an outstanding business program and so many opportunities. 

There are so many amazing things that I would learn and get to see at this program.  I would learn how to develop my own product through simulations, how to manage a business, and how to make important decisions in finances. I would also get to visit so many amazing places such as the Federal Reserve,  Silicon Valley, and some other exciting places.

I would need 3,090 dollars for the tuition of the summer program. Another 800 dollars would go to the flight there and back because I have to pay for that. Another 320 dollars would go to meals and anything else that might pop up that I would need money for.  The last 160 dollars would go to my transportation to and from the airport while I'm in California.

I would need at least the first 1,000 dollars by February 1st and another 1,745 dollars by March 1st. The rest of the money such as flight, meals, and other transportations would need to be in by April 15th.

One day I want to do something world changing, and this is just the start of my journey. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
