Hurricane Harvey Disaster Relief

**Update: the house has *finally* been rebuilt, but the costs have been a massive detrimental financial burden to my parents who are still struggling with cooperation from the banks and the IRS- who have promised help and returns but have abandoned their agreements. 

Thanks for taking the time to hear our story. Hurricane Harvey left our family home of 30 years filled with water and devastated, along with the rest of our neighborhood. We had 5ft of stagnant water sitting in the house for 10 consecutive days. So as things begin to rot, this campaign is to raise money for my parents, brother, sister and I to rebuild our lives and to replace some of the priceless memorabilia we have lost. Without flood insurance, every cent donated is gratefully accepted and appreciated. *We did not have flood insurance because in 30 years of living here we have never had water in the house* The funds will be used to demolish the house and rebuild if salvageable. Also to replace what was lost. Any spare funds will go to our community whose losses are also devastating.
