Help evacuate my family from Gaza

Hello, I am Banan Hamdan a 17-year-old from Gaza. Currently, I am studying at the United World College Of The Adriatic in Italy.

I left Gaza for an education that would build my future and help support my family. However, things sadly didn't go as planned.

The war started and destroyed everything in my homeland. Our streets, buildings, and our schools. All of that was and is still being destroyed. More than 1 million people have been displaced, and have been living in tents, including my family. Unfortunately at the beginning of the war, I lost my brother (20) when our house was bombed with two missiles. Now, my family lost not only my brother but also all of their belongings. My family was forced to move to the south in an attempt to survive. This includes my parents Basheer and Rinad (see front picture) and 4 of my siblings, Marah (23), Menna (16), Mayar (14), and my little brother Ahmed, who is just 4 years old.

They are now living in an unsafe environment, where there is a war and a cold winter. I can't imagine what they are going through. All these events are terrifying, to say the least.

I am writing my family's story and mine in an attempt to help and to try and save my family, who are lacking food, clean water, and any basic supplies (for example: hygiene products and medicine)

To help them get out of Gaza I am trying to raise 44 000€. The only way to exit Gaza without a foreign passport is to pay for the crossing at the Rafah border to Egypt. (7000€ per person).

The money will be divided as follows:

for the Rafah Crossing for 6 People: 7 000€ x 6 = 42 000€

living cost in Egypt (until we find a permanent solution): 2000€

The money will be sent to my uncel´s bank account as I am not over 18 and I am not allowed to have an account on my own.

After looking for so many different solutions this is my last option. I am grateful for every donation. I hope that this summer, I will be able to reunite with my family in Egypt.
