Katie's Fund

Hi everybody,

I've never done this before and if I'm being completely honest it makes me very uncomfortable.  I just want to help in anyway I can. This is my niece Katie. She is the most amazing little kid, and melts my heart everyday. She has a heart of gold and the most contagious smile.  Katie is 7 year old, and  was born with several joint deformities and neuromuscular abnormalities.  She has taken very few unassisted steps and has been poked/prodded her whole life.  She uses a walker or crutches to get around on a daily basis. She has a big upcoming surgery May 24th. The surgery will take 4-8 hours and will hopefully improve mobility with the end goal to walk with greater independence. She will be in a cast from the waist down for 6 weeks. 

My brother Scott and his wife Jen are the most amazing parents to her and her little brother Will. This surgery will require them to be at Gillette Hospital in Minnesota for several weeks. As you can imagine the expenses will be piling up between missing work, travel, daycare, and medical bills. I just want to help. If you can donate, any amount is greatly appreciated!
