John's Recovery Fund

Donation protected
Our very dear friend, John Morris, was a victim of the recent flooding in the Houston area. His apartment was located in The Woodlands. He evacuated to safety with his fur babies last Saturday, and returned to his apartment on Wednesday to find an eviction notice. His apartments are refunding all the residents' security deposits only, but are requiring them all to be out by this Saturday because they will be leveling the complex. He had two to three feet of water in his apartment, and has lost all of his furniture, and quite a bit of other essential living items. His renter's insurance explained to him that they will not cover flooding. He is homeless and has no recourse. Friends and family here in Houston are helping him by storing some of his items, but he will still  have to get a storage space for the rest of his belongings. He has also lost a week's worth of pay from being out of work during this time. We are humbly asking for any help for our dear friend in his time of need. We are hoping to help him replace the furniture and items he has lost, his first month's rent in a new place, pet deposit for a new apartment, and the cost of storage until he can get back to work.

All funds will be given directly to John as they become available.

Thank you so much for all of your help so far! I know OJ is grateful for all of your generous donations.
