Hi Everyone !
I have just been admitted to the LLM program of the Loyola Los Angeles Law School.
They also offered me a merit scholarship for 26000$.
Receiving this letter was a dream come true for me, but unfortunately with the cost of tuition (58000$), room and board, books, plane tickets and all the other charges, it is going to be tight.
I would greatly appreciate any donations so I can focus 100% on my studies and get the most of my education.
My goal is to become an International Lawyer. It has been my passion to be a lawyer ever since I was a little girl.
My concepts of inequality and injustice informed by unfairness such as when I had to move from Armenia to France at the age of 12 and I had to start everything from scratch. So I possessed, from very early on, a strong curiosity and eagerness to understand the people and the world around me. This happened at first through language, that I had to learn to be able to integrate into a new world.
For as long as I remember myself I have always been curious and had a strong desire for learning and knowing. I never shied from asking questions that were important for me, nor was I ever lazy to look for answers myself, even if it meant that I would miss out on my playtime.
After graduating High School, I was admitted to the Law department of the Nice Sophia Antipolis University that I graduated with honors last year. But in the meantime, I had to help my family in overcoming financial hardships and I cannot remember a month without a job.
In fact, when switching jobs, I was always prepared and made sure to advance to a better position rather than making a forced change. I never applied for a position that was beyond my skill and ability at the time and have n
ever interviewed for a position that I did not get. My hard work attitude in my studies remained the same in my professional career and I have always worked hard.
It takes perseverance, drive and passion to rise above difficulties and a long-term goal always serves as a light at the end of a seemingly never-ending tunnel. My goal is simple: become an International Lawyer. My life experiences have helped me to appreciate the value of the goal, and I look forward to reaching it. All my experiences have taught me that discipline is necessary to get to the next level.
Deciding on a career has not been a straightforward process for me. But the self-knowledge I have gained over the last five years and the internships I did in different law firms makes it clear to me that law is the right choice. Economics has given me a deeper understanding of the world and my place in it, but understanding is not enough. I want to improve the systems that directly effect people’s daily lives.
I am hoping that with your help I could fulfill my dream of being an international business lawyer and help people around me.
