Medical Bills & Treatment

A few weeks ago we had an extremely traumatic situation.  My 13 year old daughter overdosed on a prescription medication that wasn't hers.  The most scared I have ever been was racing to the hospital trying to beat the effects of the med's.  It took 6 hours in an ER to get her vitals stable enough to have an ambulance move her to Chippenham.  Once there, she was rushed into PICU.  Days went on as they pumped her body with the appropriate concoction of medication to keep her vitals from crashing.  5 days later she was admitted into a psychiatric unit for observation and counseling.  After another 6 days I was able to bring her home.  While she is now home, our lives are much different than they were.  Due to the circumstances I am no longer able to work.  Aside from being terrified to leave her,everyday is running to different counselors, doctors or home bound schooling.  I am reaching out for help with the medical bills that will be upon us and the counseling programs that I want to get her in.  Unfortunately mental health is not a priority with healthcare.  Once someone is deemed "stable" they are kicked to the curb.  Now, is the most important time period for help.  I will not quit on my girl, and asking for help is a super big step for me.  I have several programs I am looking at getting her into, yet they are big expenses.  Along with the medical bills that are in route, having enough to take care of the home and the extra debt, just isn't there.  Any donation is greatly appreciated.
