Nyachom's Law School Tuition
Donation protected
My name is Nyachom Chiek, to my knowledge, I am the first South Sudanese Woman to go to Law School. I started in 2014, and am now in my second year at Gonzaga University School of Law in Washington State.
Currently, I am a legal intern at the Washington State Attorney General, Consumer Protection. I am thankful to have this job! It is an outgrowth of my desire to work in Public Interest Law, and help people who have fallen prey to unethical business practices.
I am also passionate about human rights and have helped establish and conducted fundraising for a humanitarian organization, "Naath Crisis." Here we raise funds through community events and our website, to provide necessary food and clothing for people facing starvation as a result of the civil war in my native South Sudan. Please see the link to our website below:

When I finish law school, I hope to work for International Justice MIssion (IJM) where internatinally trained lawyers work to end human trafficing and child prostitution.
I owe the school the remainder of Fall 2015's tuition, and can't stay in classes for Spring 2016 unless I clear the $8,200. The recent nose dive in the exchange rate of the Canadian dollar (worth 69 cents US ) has made the value of my Canadian loans worth much less than when I started in 2014, making it really difficult for me to keep up with tuition.
However, I am sure there is a reason for me being in school, and that God will provide a way.
Any help that you can give is much appreciated, so that I can register for classes this semester.
Thank you for taking the time to read this!
Blessings!
