Pour out your love for Keegan

During this past week, our dear friend Keegan “15 years old” began experiencing flu like symtoms. Keegan was taken to a local urgent care treated for strep throat and influenza then released. On Thursday night Keegan began to experiencing labored breathing and by Friday morning he was very weak and purple. Thankfully, his mother rushed him to Firelands Hospital. Keegan was then placed on life support and air lifted to Cleveland Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital. Upon arrival his parents were met by a team of doctors whom informed them that Keegan's left lung had collapsed, that both his lungs and his blood had become infected otherwise known as sepsis.

Currently, Keegan is in critical condition but stable. He is in a medically induced coma and has been placed on a machine called ECMO. This machine oxygenate his blood and allows him to rest. The doctors have been able to pin point the infection called MRSA and he is being treated for that.

Keegan's family is standing in faith and believing God for a miraculous recovery. They have already received an outpouring of prayers and loving support. As another way to show support for Keegan and his family, a fund has been set up to help relieve the financial burden.
