CURE International Care Packages

Tax deductible
About a year-and-a-half ago, when I was twelve, I was airlifted to the cardiac ICU of a local children's hospital for a heart condition that eventually required surgery. While there, I was given a care package by a non-profit organization. The package had a blanket, stuffed animal, lotion, and some other fun things in it, just to brighten my day during this very scary time.

About a year after my hospitalization, I began to wonder why there isn’t a program giving packages to disabled children in underserved countries. Here in the states we are far from underserved and yet American children receive packages of all kinds. Not to say that stateside groups should re-shift their focus. Not at all. I am so grateful for their generosity.

I just thought that it would be nice to brighten the day of another child sitting in the hospital--a child who has been rejected their whole life for no reason other than their disability.

Then I learned about CURE International. CURE is an organization that heals children with disabilities while simultaneously telling them about Jesus. They currently have nine different hospitals stationed in underserved countries all around the world.

I’ve partnered with CURE to create care packages for the kids that they serve. On October 13, 2018, I will be gathering the materials for these packages and after assembling them, I will ship them off to CURE where they will be distributed to American medical missionary teams who will take them to children in CURE hospitals around the world.

And I need your help!

Your one-time donation will go towards shipping costs and the purchase of the following items:

1 gallon Ziploc bags
