West Virginia “Virtual” Mission Festival
Coming Saturday, May 8th
Last year, our Mission Festival was basically this GoFundMe page. Sigh....
But this year, we are going full-virtual Zoom! Hooray!
It won't be the same as the live one, but it will be loads of fun! There will be Music and Storytelling by Tim and Maggie and some of their friends in West Virginia. There will be a special "West Virginia Value Meal" that you can either pick up or get delivered to you. There will be a bake sale, a virtual cake walk and loads more fun.

We are using this GoFundMe page so you can get in on contributing to our West Virginia Mission Partners before during and after the festival. If you are "attending" the festival, we hope you will make a contribution. If you don't attend the Festival, but want to make a contribution anyway, God Bless You!
Either way, you are ensuring that our Mission Partners in West Virginia can continue that amazing work that they are doing. This year has been particularly hard for them, especially the Folklife Center, which relies on the income provided by mission teams that come and stay with them.
More information about Appalachian South Folklife Center: We assist families in need through our Service Work program. College, church and civic groups come to the Folklife Center to learn about Appalachia while performing volunteer work for folks in our area facing hard times. This program helps people with their home repair needs and provides other community service to non-profit and grassroots organizations. The program also allows our volunteers to learn about Appalachian heritage and culture. They gain valuable teamwork and leadership skills at the same time.
