On February 8, 2021, my dear friend and colleague, Mike DeLuna, lost his beloved son, Xavier DeLuna.
There are no words that can encompass the amount of pain Mike and his family are experiencing at this time. At times such as this, there is very little comfort and support we can offer. Unfortunately, the path that Mike and his family must walk is paved with heartbreak and pain. One minor hardship we can remove from the shoulders of those who loved Xavier is to absorb some or all of the cost of his funeral, allowing them to focus on their grief and the arrangements that must now be made.
Mike is one of God's most loyal and humble servants. If God is calling on you to make a contribution, please do not just skip over this request with the intention to get back to this. Please, contribute whatever you can to remove this burden from the family and to show them that they are not alone in their suffering. No amount is too small. It isn't about the size of the donation, it is about the love and support associated with it.
Please know that all donations will be used to cover the costs associated with the services. Any remaining funds will be provided to a charity/memorial selected by the DeLuna family.
