Please help the J. Douglas Montgomery Family
Dear Friends,
We have recently learned that Douglas Montgomery has been critically ill for a year now. Over the past few months, he has been in and out of ICU numerous times. He and his family have suffered a great deal under the strain of his illness.
As many of you know, Douglas has been deeply dedicated to his neighborhood, his borough and to his city. His volunteer work includes Co-Chairman of the Little Neck Douglaston Memorial Day Parade and as such, he contributes an enormous amount of time and energy to recognize the needs of our military and veterans. Douglas has also volunteered with the local Boy Scouts and the NYC Veterans Day Parade. In addition, he has been an active member of Community Board 11, the Long Island Board of Realtors, Douglaston Garden Club, Friends of the Douglaston/Little Neck Library, Zion Church and the Douglaston Manor Association.
For someone who has given so much of himself to the community, we hope that you will now consider helping him, his wife Jacqueline and sons Terryl and Pierce. The road to recovery is going to be long and the mounting medical bills and expenses have become overwhelming.
Any contribution will be greatly appreciated.
