Xander Moody

Kristen Elizabeth Harner Moody, 30, of Powhatan, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 23, 2018. Kristen was a devoted and loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and cousin. She adored her role as a mother to her only son, Xander, and immensely enjoyed spending each and every day with him. Kristen was also so excited about becoming a new aunt to Jace. She was an avid photographer who looked forward to capturing many family memories. Some of her happiest summers were spent with her cousins Jonathan and Jeffrey. Kristen is survived by her husband, Robert Pace Moody and adored son, Xander Pace Moody. She is also survived by her mother, Elizabeth Hall Ross and stepfather Rick Ross; her father, Robert Harner and wife Ofilia Harner; her brother, Michael Robert Harner and wife Wanda Noblin Harner, and their son Jace Michael Harner; her maternal grandmother, Sophie Hall; her paternal grandfather, C. Jack Harner; and her godmother and trusted confidante, Carole Jo Harner. Kristen also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at The Presbyterian Church, 810 Princess Anne St., Fredericksburg, VA 22401. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. As a tribute to Kristen, memorial contributions may be made to Xander Pace Moody for his education.
