Two weeks ago my wife and I were given the horrible and unexpected news that my son Xander was diagnosed with Chordoma - a rare cancer that affects 1 in 1,000,000 in the U.S. Our sweet baby has been the unlucky number 1 in this statistic.
Treatment for Xander starts soon. We are preparing to send my son into surgery next week and afterwards, we will be traveling to San Diego, CA for his proton radiation therapy. The process awaiting Xander and our family is daunting and we need your help.
With your help I will be able to be present throughout my son's treatment and be a strong advocate for him. I have been given Leave of Absence at work, but they will not be able to help with Paid Family Leave.
Your donation will help my family pay our household bills and any other bills associated with Xander’s treatment.
All I care about is the health of my baby boy and the support that I will need to provide for my family.
