Urgently evacuate my kids from Gaza

My name is Asmaa, I am fundraising this on behalf of my brother in law Mohammed Arafat. Here is his story:

My name is Mohamed Arafat, a Gazan and father of two beautiful children Naya and Azam. I spent my whole life in Gaza where I got my bachelor's degree in accounting. With the difficult circumstances in Gaza in which finding a job is extremely challenging, I was lucky to start my own business (pizzeria). Such a small business was my only resource to provide for my family. Once the war started in Gaza, and like every Gazan, I lost my home, and my business and became a refuge in southern Gaza.

My wife, the kids, and I along with my parents and siblings, are moving every few days from one place to another in order to survive and find a safe place. The basic routine has become waking up and walking miles searching for food, clean water, and appropriate clothes during this winter. However, the most exhausting thing is calming my kids during the unstoppable bombardment, the kids became terrified, shaking, and crying, especially at night.

Every day, my wife and I are struggling to convince our children that everything is going to be all right, that one day all these horrible events are going to end, and we will go back to our home, and they will go back to school.

My kids have never stopped asking when they can go back to their normal lives, they keep asking why can't they have a peaceful day like every child in the world. These questions are breaking my heart and leaving me speechless.

Unfortunately, after spending more than 120 days, we can’t put up with this situation anymore. We are looking forward to evacuating immediately from Gaza in order to survive and have a normal life where we can raise our children peacefully and start building a new life. For this, we need an amount for permit fees to cross the border. The border crossing permit fee for an adult will cost nowadays 5 thousand USD dollars, and for a minor will cost 3 thousand USD dollars. In addition, the amount for accommodation, food, clothes, and building a new life.
