San José Obrero Orphanage

Some of the ladies of Sonrisas Harmony Chorus are going to take part in the "ANIMAL - III 5k Race - #DespegaLosAlcázares" on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at the beautiful coastal municipality of Los Alcázares. Maggie run this race with her husband John last year and suggested it would be a wonderful thing for the chorus to be involved with this year.

Conchita, Gail, Julia, Lorraine, Lynda, Maggie, Ria, Sharon and Susie have been training very hard under the supervision of Lynda, our marathon runner in the chorus. We have started this GoFundMe page to put our hard work to the test as we want to raise money for the children at San José Obrero orphanage, which is a charity close to the chorus’ heart. The orphanage is dedicated to boys and girls between 6 to 18 years old who lack protection or are at social risk.
