I'm not sure how to start this to tell you the truth. My sons best friend was shot and killed on 5/31/17 and as a Father I cant see myself being in the position that the Hill Family is in right now. As it is said you should never bury your child and one of my Friends now has to do that. My Family has known James Hill and his family for 10 + years and we considered James to be one of our own as he was with us all the time. I know that the situation that led to James Hill's death might be said by some that he got what he deserved but I say put yourself in there shoes and put aside what you think and maybe reach down deep and think how you would feel if it was your child. I would not say he was not in the wrong or that it was a justified shooting, it is not my place. All I'm doing is reaching out to the people out there to ask for some help for my friends. James was a good kid who got mixed up with the wrong crowd at the wrong time and paid the ultimate price. We miss him dearly and will have a whole in life that can never be filled. All the details have yet to be released so what the news is telling everyone is all that we have. We are not sure what the Family is going to do yet as far as the funeral and that is why I have the funds set to 10,000 and at no time am I saying that is going to be a set amount so anything you can give will help to offset whatever the total might be.
