Lincoln’s recovery.

Lincoln is 7 years old.  On Dec. 4th he was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.  We are trying to raise money to help with travel and food as we have 3 other mouths to feed.  Each way of travel is about 2 hours.  We will be making this trip once a week for the next 6 months. Every 3 weeks we will be in Rochester for 5 days for chemo. In between chemo treatments, Lincoln's neutrophil levels drop leaving him neutropenic. This has required him to be hospitalized for an additional 3 days. Unfortunately, when he gets a fever due to neutropenia we have to rush him to Eau Claire. From there they administer antibiotics and fluids to be proactive against sepsis. They then transport Lincoln  to Rochester via an ambulance.  Our insurance does not cover this. The hospital said they could help us fight this but that is not a guarantee. So far we are 1 month into this process and still learning how all of this works. 

We are thankful for the days in between when he gets to be home with his siblings.
