PLEASE HELP MY DAD RECOVER!

Donation protected
This situation has been difficult on many levels. It has been an attack from the enemy. It has caused worry and stress where we know none should be. We trust that the Lord is still good, and we are fighting again the temptation of disbelief.

December 14, 2017, we decided to take my dad to the Katy Methodist Hospital after he was experiencing several days of discomfort. His initial pain began on Sunday, December 10, 2017. He complained of back pain and only had relief when he sat down. He was not able to lay down nor stand for long periods of time. By Thursday, the 14th he was only comfortable sitting down and said his pain was unbearable. Upon being admitted on Thursday, my dad was “diagnosed” with a number of things. The reason for his back pain was a UTI, that became a kidney infection that then spread to his blood. In essence he had a blood infection and that caused a series of side effects. My dad was dismissed from the hospital Wednesday, December 28,2017. Medically, he was recovering well with the medications he was given and the infection clearing up. However, physically, even though the infection was getting better, his legs became weaker. The doctor and staff could not find an explanation to this. My dad left the hospital with the assistance of a wheelchair and was given a walker to help him at home because at the moment he is not able to walk on his own. Currently, we do not have insurance, and we were informed that my dad will need physical therapy to help along his complete recovery. Out of pocket, physical therapy is expensive and that is something we cannot afford at the moment given my father is the main provider in our household. We humbly ask you to consider supporting us financially and prayerfully or someone or some people offering free physical therapy to help my dad to a full recovery. We thank you deeply from the bottom of our hearts.

James 5:16
Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
