Tim's Medical Fund

Tim and I have worked hard to build the foundation for the life we want. We bought a house, financed a couple cars, and started to furnish our home. We even decided to start trying for a baby this month on my birthday. We are young and maybe overestimated our health. On September 7th we were told Tim has Hodgkin's lymphoma. That was a Thursday and the following week was a whirlwind of appointments and drama. We face another week of craziness before chemo starts. He has had blood tests, heart tests, lung test, poked, prodded, and scanned, and we’ve only just begun. We have researched and studied, and the information we are finding is relatively good news. That does not mean, however, that the next year is not going to be the rockiest kind of adventure. Now that we know chemo is a must, Tim’s job has told him they cannot accommodate him so he cannot work, making me the only income in our household right now. This is the scariest thing for me. I want to know that I am enough and I am simply not. Our family has been so amazing and has banded together with us to get through this tough time, but we are going to need as much support as we can get. I never thought that I would be in a position to ask for assistance, but the reality is that it will be desperately needed. We have gone over our bills and calculated what we will be able to afford while he is not working and how much the bills we cannot cover would be over 6 months. What we cant cover totals about 10,000 including the medical bills. We are working as hard as we can do everything possible to not let this sickness ruin our credit as well as his health and ability to work. Any little bit we can get towards this goal is so appreciated. I wish health and happiness to everyone.
