Tough guy UK
On the 29th March myself and my brothers will be taking on the Tough guy competition. This is labelled as one of the world’s most demanding one-day survival ordeal with up to a third of the starters failing to finish a typical year which goes without saying this will push us to our limits. There are 35 Groups of Multiple Obstacles Totalling over 300 Individual Task Tests; the Objective is to Break your Courage over an 8 Country mile course .
The best that we can do is run this course which will be a huge challenge for us mentally and physically so the least we can ask for is a donation for a charity that is very close to home being Parkinson’s UK. Parkinson's disease (PD) is a long-term degenerative disorder of the central nervous system that mainly affects the motor system. As the disease worsens, non-motor symptoms become more common. Parkinson's UK is the largest charity funder of research into Parkinson's in the UK, it funds research aimed at finding better treatments and improving the understanding of Parkinson's and its causes. We hope that by doing our bit we can aid research to hopefully in the near future find a cure.
