This is Darren Lang - he’s just qualified to compete in the WORLD’S STRONGEST MAN UNDER 90KG COMPETITION to be held in Norway this November, after taking out the 2015 AUSTRALASIA’S MOST POWERFUL MAN in the 90kg division. But in order to get there, he needs our help! So I have established this fundraising page to help Darren achieve his goal to represent AUSTRALASIA against the World’s best on the International stage.
Darren is a humble man who is well known and respected by his peers and fellow athletes. He is known for consistently achieving high results in the field of Strength and Power performance. In the last few years alone, Darren has achieved the following :
1ST – NSW STRONGMAN TITLES U90 & U105 (he won them on the same weekend!)
2ND – (by one point) IRELANDS STRONGEST MAN U90’S
1ST- NATIONAL AMATEUR STRONGMAN CHAMPION U90
1ST – STATE OF ORIGIN TITLES (he also Captained the NSW team to victory)
During this time, Darren also took a year off strongman to test himself and his strength in the Sport of POWERLIFTING. In his first ever competition – he broke 2 NATIONAL RECORDS at the CAPO NSW STATE TITLES on his way to taking out his division.
So as you can see from just these results alone – Darren deserves his shot against the Worlds’ best at the 2015 WORLDS STRONGEST MAN COMPETITION IN NOVEMBER. So please dig deep everyone as any donation would be greatly appreciated to help get him over to NORWAY to represent AUSTRALASIA at the WORLD CHAMPS!!!
