Let's help Samantha Kayne kick cancer's butt!

15 year old Samantha Kayne has recently been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma and is currently starting a 5-6 month course of treatment at Children's Hospital in Los Angeles.

This bright young lady is a sophomore at VAAS High School and loves musicals, superhero comics and the show FRIENDS. Samantha enjoys performing arts both at school and at Golden (GPAC) and is an active alumni at Kirk School. Samantha loves volunteering and can often be found helping out at VAAS, Kirk, Golden and, her favorite, the Southern California Pomeranian Rescue Foundation. This rescue is where Samantha adopted her best friend, Walter, who is also fighting Lymphoma. 

Sam's dad, Doug, is a history teacher at Van Nuys High School and has mentored hundreds of young adults during his tenure. As a performer himself, Doug has passed on his love of the stage to Sam.

A beloved member of the Kirk School staff, Sam's mother, Heather, has nurtured many Kirk students over the years. Now, she must take time off work to focus her attention on her only child. 

The cost of treatment is high and we would like to help. Let's come together to support the Kayne family, let them know they are loved, and help them kick cancer's butt!!!!
