Richelle's Medical Fund

Hello,

As many of you know, our mom, Richelle, had a severe stroke December 19, 2017 on her commute home from working in Bismarck. A blood vessel ruptured on the right side of her brain causing paralysis on the left side of her body. She was in critical condition in the ICU from December 19-21 where the doctors were closely monitoring the bleed in her brain to determine if surgery would be needed. Luckily, mom pulled through  and  was able to be moved to the Neurology Floor on December 21 where she stayed until January 3rd.  On January 3rd, Mom was accepted to Sanford's Rehab facility in Fargo. She is currently working hard with Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy.  Mom is expected to be in the rehab facility for 2-3 weeks, but could be extended depending on her progress. She is currently making tremendous progress and is able to walk with assistance and move her left arm and hand, but still has a long road ahead of her.
