October 2, 2018, we were notified that our grandfather was on a cruise to Mexico and fell and hit his head. The bleeding was so severe that he went into a coma and had to stop in Los Cabos to be taken to a hospital.
His body is still in Mexico and we need to get him back to the States. He was in the hospital for two days and the hospital bill already went up to $30,000.
We need to bring him home in order to be covered by Medicare and the air ambulance to Los Angeles is $25,000 and they want CASH for both.
If he stays in the hospital, the bill will go up another $7,500 per day.
My parents are missionaries in Thailand, and although we want to pool as much of our money together, it is a lot for us to give so suddenly.
