As I sit here writing this, I am still numb, lost, and in disbelief. My Husband Jeremy Has been diagnosed with stage 4 adenocarcinoma with no origin. Meaning they do not know where is came from or where it started at. This also means they do not know exactly how to treat it. When he was first diagnosed we were told he had multiple tumors in his chest with the largest being about 7cm x 4 cm and now 6 weeks that tumor is 10cm x 9cm and another tumor has grown from 1 cm to 5cm x 5cm. We also found out through further testing that the cancer has spread to the lymphnoids in his neck and he now has multiple tumors in his brain. Jeremy was the sole provider for our family.
He was our rock and always did everything he needed to do to take care of his family. He has two children a daughter named Hannahlynn who is 11 and a Son Zachary who just turned 5.
Jeremys health has declined rapidly in the last 6 weeks and he is no longer able to work. He spends most of his time at home resting, and using what little energy he has to go back and forth to multiple doctor appointments and spending time with his kids.
The thought of our kids growing up with out a father is terrifying. We need help. We have no life insurance, and no savings. The job economy is rough and even while I have been able to find a part time job I have been missing work to help take care of Jeremy.
We are asking for help with loss of wages and to help with after life expenses. We never in our wildest imaginations imagined this would be something we would be going through. We have always been the one to help others, and be their support system. Now we need the help.
Jeremy starts chemo treatment on September 25th 2018. Doctors have told us that even with extreme treatment there is not a very good life expectancy and that he we should get hospice involved to help preserve the quality of life. I know he will not be able to relax, focus on treatments, and work on getting better until he knows everything will be taken care of.
We know money can be tight, believe me we are right there with you. Every little amount helps even if its only $5.
