Wyatt Campbell and family
Donation protected
Wyatt was born 5 weeks early on Christmas day 12-25-16. He has been a fighter from day 1 and took the normal nicu course. Around age 3 months, he had an unexpected huge seizure that landed him in the picu and continued to have multiple, ongoing health problems. Around 10 months, Wyatt was diagnosed with Menkes. It is a rare genetic, terminal condition where copper isn't absorbed properly. There is no cure. The maximum expected life span is 3 years. Wyatt is now 14 months old and has been hospitalized 11 times. He has fought the good fight. We are taking him home on hospice Sunday. We don't know how much time is left, but we want him to be comfortable and surrounded with love, as always.
The family has experienced obvious financial strain from the 11 hospitalizations and a pay cut for Jessica to stay home and care for him. Anything helps as this family goes through the unimaginable. If you are unable to give, just pray for this sweet family and their journey.
