Disabled Veteran and Family

My name is Ashley Shaffer. On October 29th 2018 during a routine surgery an error occurred that almost cost my life, leaving me hospitalized for more then a month. After my second emergency surgery, while hospitalized, I was informed that I will face yet another surgery in three to six months. The medical error causes me daily discomfort and illness.  During the whole hospital fiasco my daughter who is three was forced to stay anywhere but our home as my husband spent his time with me in the hospital. Our three-year-old spent her time being shuffled between her Great Grandparents. Terrified he might lose his wife my husband was at the hospital which was over half an hour away from our home as often as he could. He was unable to work for a minimum of a month which set us back to the point where we now could lose not only our transportation but our home as well. I'm choosing to set up this GoFundMe plan in hopes we might be able to catch our bills, up so that we don't lose those things that we need to continue to survive and put food on our plates.
