Keep "Hana, the Heart of Hawaii" alive

In 2012, "Hana, the Heart of Hawai'i," the independently produced documentary profiling the community and culture in Hana, Maui was donated to the Hana Cultural Center.  Only 60 copies of the DVD remain and once those are gone the DVD will be out of print.  To date, the DVD has been the most popular selling item in the Hana Cultural Center's gift shop.  Every copy they sell brings them $20 in much needed income.  With the current tight economy and the loss of critical grants to assist with operating funds, the Hana Cultural Center needs every cent it can earn just to remain open.

This campaign's goal is to raise $1,750 to produce 1000 new DVD's of the film which the Hana Cultural Center will sell retail at $20 per copy.  Quite simply, raising $1,750 will bring $20,000 worth of retail income to the Hana Cultural Center, more than a $11 return for each $1 raised.  Additionally, this will keep the film, "Hana, the Heart of Hawai'i" alive and sharing the special mana of this wonderful community for years to come.

All funds raised by this campaign go solely toward the cost of DVD duplication.
