Support Art Exhibition at World Water Week

Dear friends,

We need your help to bring Between Clouds and Oceans, a two-year collaborative series initiated by the students at the Water Initiative at the Geneva Graduate Institute (IHEID) in collaboration with the QinTheory Studio, to the World Water Week, which takes place from 23 August to 1 September 2022 in Stockholm, Sweden. We are very honoured to be able to create an online exhibition during the conference and we need financial support to cover the excessive participation fees of 5000 SEK (approx 500 Euros/CHF) of the conference to reach policy- and decision-makers around the world.

Water is the origin of all lives but is also indispensable to the identity and cosmology of our ancestors. Following where water flows Between Clouds and Oceans, we illustrate a currently disrupted hydro-cycle and the solutions that we seek through water governance, diplomacy, and management.

The exhibition presents six paintings of Charlotte Qin in digital formats, each carrying a message from the water that has been embodied by an article written by a researcher from IHEID. We hope that this artistic collaboration will help us restore our lost intrinsic connection with water as humans and unlock our long-sought answers to creating peace and living in harmony with one another through learning from water.
