Hurricane Harvey Relief Fundraiser

Two Dallasites now living in Houston, Kyle and I have tried to come up with a creative way to encourage further donations to the Hurricane Harvey Relief effort that has been going on for the last week. While the video we posted contains a certain level of humor, we are in no way taking this situation lightly. In fact, we have each already volunteered hours of our own time and pledged our own money to contribute to the cause. There are years of recovery work ahead of us, and we know this storm has already cost the citizens of Southeast Texas and the Gulf Coast regions dearly. We hope that this video can bring a smile to some faces while also drawing further attention to the disaster recovery efforts, spurring more donations and more volunteers coming forward to help those in need. We in no way want to take away from the incredible work JJ Watt has done, and as citizens of Houston, we want to be some of the first to sincerely thank him for it. We also hope that above all, this video serves to encourage further donations to any of the many relief funds that currently exist to fund the numerous relief efforts going on, both in Houston and also in the surrounding regions. This is our home, and we WILL rebuild. #HoustonStrong
