In Loving Support of Dwight McCarra
On Oct. 23rd, 2015 Dwight McCarra was working on a deer stand in a tree when he suffered a terrible fall and landed on his head. He is currently paralyzed with minimal use of his hands and feet.
While his doctors are hopeful that he may be able to relearn how to walk and care for himself again they predict that he will need at least a year of intensive therapy and round-the-clock care to reach that point.
As if this wasn’t difficult enough, Dwight’s loving wife, Janet McCarra, passed away suddenly on Jan. 8th, 2016 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS.
Janet spent each day at the hospital with him and was his primary caretaker after his release. Dwight needs constant care and support to help him heal in this difficult time.
The loss of Janet has left Dwight not only mourning his wife but also in need of a full time caregiver. There is a long road ahead - both physically and emotionally and we are hoping to relieve some of the financial burden by raising funds for him.
Dwight and Janet have always been very loving people who have always helped others and would never ask for anything.
Please help us reach out and support Dwight in this time of profound loss and recovery.
