WWII Pat Saraceno's Funeral

Donation protected

In Loving memory of Pat Saraceno! Pat Saraceno past away peacefully at home on January 5 2018. Pat Saraceno, Where do we even begin?  When we say home we mean his other home. A medical foster home that Pat came to us almost 3 years ago. We are not a nursing home but a foster home alternative to a nursing home. See, we take care of veterans to help them live the rest of their lives with quality of life and give them what they deserve. RESPECT and no veteran dies alone.  We try to make a difference in their lives. What we didn't know is Pat made even a bigger difference not only in our lives but the whole community and many people along the way. His contagous smile went a long way that will stay with us forever. The love he had to give are beyond words. The stories he had should be written in a book and cherished to educate what generation is lacking. What he did for this country and many more like him. Nobody ever wants to get that call that their loved one has past. Let alone with the shock comes the expenses. It was just Pat and his son living an average life. His son is a police officer and has been off work due to an injury on the job. We all know that with our officers putting thier lives on the line everyday don't get paid enough what they should. His father (Pat) had no money in the reserves for when this day would come. Pat  lived with his son until his son couldn't take care of the needs Pat really needed. His son dreaded the thought of a nursing home and working midnight shifts was hard to be there for his father. He made the desicion of a Medical foster home that is a home for his father. He made a wonderful decision knowing his father was safe and well cared for. He was able to go fishing, the zoo, bingo, BBQ's, and most importantly get out to see his friends and family. When Pat came to us not only did Pat become a part of the family but his son as well. When I heard that they had no money to help I felt that if we all just donated something even if it's $20.00 we can help our WWII Veteran and his son.
Pat at the age of 16 came here from Argentina and put his life on the line for our Country. His son followed his footstep by becoming a police officer and when he walks out that door everyday knowing what could happen. Talk about couragous.
Can we all please help make this time of grieving less stressful for his only son who is dealing with this by himself. Nobody should have to deal with by themselves.
Pat in the past 3 years touched many hearts a long the way.
Can we please find it in our hearts give him what he deserves. We love you Pat Saraceno and you will be deaply missed.
