WUKF World Karate Championships

Hello, my name is Jessica Johnsen. I am finishing up my first year at the University of Florida as a mechanical engineering major. I am also a third degree black belt in Isshinryu Karate. I have been given the opportunity to represent the United States of America, Isshinryu, my Dojo, and my family at the WUKF World Championships in Scotland in June. I have continued to train on my own during my first year in college, and returning to train with my Dojo whenever I was home. Along with training, I was able to make the College of Engineering Deans List my first semester. As I further my education, the opportunities for me to travel and compete will be numbered as I will be pursuing internships, research opportunities, and other professional development. I am asking for any aid that you may be able to provide me to help me reach my goal of standing on the podium at the World Championships! Thank you in advance!
