Un pequeño grupo de familias nos unimos con una inquietud en común: crear un espacio educativo respetuoso con la infancia. Así plantamos la semillita de nuestro proyecto y en poco tiempo empezamos a pasar tiempo juntas con regularidad, dándole forma a ese sueño que pronto lo veríamos hecho realidad.

Durante la crianza descubrimos que todas las familias nos hacíamos las mismas preguntas: ¿Cómo queremos educar a nuestros peques? ¿Qué es importante para las familias y qué valores queremos que adopten para su propia vida? Sin duda, la mayor parte de la crianza se produce de forma intuitiva, pero pronto nos dimos cuenta de que queríamos otro tipo de educación con un enfoque respetuoso, amable y gentil de la educación y el aprendizaje.

Así nació la idea de "La Escuelita".

En septiembre de 2021 fundamos el Espacio Educativo Entre Olivos, una escuela libre con actualmente 10 peques y 2 acompañantes. Mientras tanto más bebés han ido llegando a nuestras familias y aún más vienen de camino. Por lo tanto, el espacio actual no sólo se está quedando pequeño, sino que también necesitamos un espacio seguro para la nueva generación de bebés que están a punto de entrar, junto a sus hermanas y hermanos mayores.

Siendo enteramente financiado por las propias familias y el generoso apoyo del Centro de Retiros Suryalila la economía del proyecto es muy reducida, pero confiamos en encontrar la manera de hacer posible el nuevo espacio para los bebés.

Nuestras peques están creciendo, sus necesidades también, y la escuela también.

Y nos hemos dado cuenta de que no podemos dar este paso sin ayuda. Por eso te pedimos tu colaboración.

Por favor, apoya a nuestra pequeña escuela, basada en un acompañamiento y aprendizaje con un enfoque diferente al que las instituciones nos ofrecen. A través del juego libre, la alimentación intuitiva, el cuidado mutuo y el trato respetuoso con las demás personas y con nuestra madre naturaleza, creemos que podemos marcar la diferencia.

Porque estamos acompañando a un grupo de personas que algún día serán adultas.

Así que debemos tratarlas como si fueran los seres más sabios, capaces y preciosos de este mundo, porque lo que ellas creen es en lo que se convierten.

About 4 years ago, in the Sierra de Cádiz, Andalusia...

A small group of families came together with a common dream: to create an educational space respectful of children. Thus we planted the seed of our project and within a short time began meeting regularly, giving shape to a dream that would soon become a reality.

In the early years we discovered that all the families were asking the same questions: How do we want to educate our children? What is important for our families and what values do we want our children to adopt for their own lives? Without a doubt, most parenting happens intuitively, but we soon realized that we wanted a different kind of education with a respectful, kind and gentle approach to education and learning.

Thus the idea of "La Escuelita" was born.

In September 2021 we founded Espacio Educativo Entre Olivos, an alternative school with currently 10 children and 2 chaperones. In the last couple of years, many more babies have joined our community, with more on the way. With the future additions to the school, the current space can no longer accommodate the group. It's also necessary to create a safe space for the younger generation starting in the next school year alongside their older sisters and brothers.

Being entirely funded by the families themselves and the generous support of the Suryalila Retreat Center the project is limited to a small budget, but we are confident that we will find a way to make the new space possible for the babies.

Our little ones are growing, their needs are growing, and so is the school.

And we acknowledge that we cannot take this step without help. That's why we ask for your support.

Please support our small school, based on accompaniment and learning with a different approach to what the traditional institutions can offer us. Through free play, intuitive eating, mutual care and respectful treatment with one another and our mother nature, we believe we can make a difference.

Because we are accompanying a group of people who will one day be adults.

So we must treat them as if they are the wisest, most capable and precious beings in this world, because what they believe is what they become.
