My name is Jose Remejio Martinez and I am 61 years old.  My journey began on May 31, 2016 when I was rushed to the Rio Grande Regional Hospital ER due to intolerable pain caused by an enlarged prostate.  After this followed another visit to the ER (Doctors Hospital at Rennaisance) on June 5, 2016.  On June 10, 2016, I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer after having a Turp Surgery.  On June 21, 2016, I was taken to the DHR ER for the third time due to retention of urine.  After having a bone scan done on July 7, 2016, I began a series of hormone shots that would continue for three years.  In addition to this, 45 days of radiation therapy would begin on December 12, 2016.  I was relieved to finish this laser therapy in February of 2017.  However, in October of the same year, a 2nd tumor was found on my right kidney as well as stones in my gallbladder.  I have an appointment in February of this year for pending surgery on my right kidney and I am still needing hormone therapy for the prostate cancer.  Due to medical insurance deductables and other uncovered costs, I am faced with the possibility of having to discontinue my medical care.  I have already had to postpone one of my therapies due to this.  For this reason, I ask for any contribution to assist me in continuing with my medical care.  Any amount is greatly appreciated.  Thank you in advance and may GOD bless you.
