Progressive News & Talk WRWK 93.9 LPFM TheWorkFM

Hello! My name is Lee Carleton and I am raising funds to promote progressive, independent media, specifically the radio station WRWK 93.9 LPFM, TheWorkFM.org located in Midlothian, VA outside Richmond.

We are an all-volunteer, non-commercial community radio station with a small local signal but a global reach via our stream. Our goal is to offer programming that is relevant, inspiring, solutions-oriented, and fact-based. We seek to achieve this by featuring credible sources with a diversity of perspectives and by exploring a wide range of topics.

TheWorkFM is run by a skeleton crew on a shoestring budget and we are looking for funding to pay our bills and update our equipment. This fundraier could help pay our bills for an entire year.

We broadcast and stream progressive news & talk featuring a wide variety of topics and voices including Pacifica content and local programs. Currently we repeat a 6-hour loop that begins each day at noon with Amy Goodman's Democracy NOW
