Wressle Awareness Camp

Wressle Awareness Camp has been
established by local residents  as a monitoring camp.

Egdon Resources has permission in place from North Lincolnshire Council to allow high
pressure low volume fracking to go ahead at
the Wressle site.  They are one step away from fracking in North Lincolnshire. if we don't stop it now this could lead to the over turning of
the fracking moratorium. 

We tried to engage with Egdon Resources to
be given updates on the works being carried
out,  however we had no response.  What
information they do provide on their websites is only what they want the investors to see. 

As concerned local residents we were left
with no choice but to take matters into our
own hands, Monitoring the works being
carried out at the Wressle site ourselves.  The only way to achieve this is to establish a camp which we have now done. We are located in
the field adjacent to the Clapp Gate entrance DN15 0BD.

Since  the establishment of the camp Egdon
has now setup the Community Liaison Group
and had the first meeting.

Now that restrictions are lifting feel free to
call in for tea/coffee and a bit of cake (if there’s any left) in our meet & greet information point on camp. 

We need your help to build our camp and stay here monitoring the works at Wressle.
