Help Milo get home

We are not normally a family that asks for help, but on this occasion we desperately need your help to bring our boy Milo home safe.

Milo is our 4 year old Weimaraner. Everyone who meets Milo falls in love with him because of his crazy, energetic and funny personality. He is a true character.

Surgery was performed to remove a rock that was stuck in Milo’s lower intestine, which cost a total of £3500. As Milo’s insurance only covers £2000, we paid the remaining £1500.

Today, we received the heartbreaking news that Milo’s surgery was unsuccessful and he has since developed sepsis. Milo requires another surgical procedure to give him the chance of coming home. This is predicted to cost between £2000-3000. 

UPDATE:

Milo’s intestines were in a worse condition than expected, resulting in a larger section of his lower intestine being removed. Ultimately the surgery cost upward of £4000. Milo is currently out of surgery and is battling sepsis alongside recovering from surgery. 

Milo’s aftercare costs us an additional £500-600 every 12 hours, and he is expected to have to remain in the vet for at least 5 days after surgery.

Please help us bring Milo home where he belongs. Our home is not complete without him.
