Basically I am unemployed. My car was repossessed and I am a month behind my rent... the trifecta.
When I was working, I would come home to see my wife practically in tears every night. It was breaking my heart to see her like this. One day I received a text from her threatening to leave the 8 year old twins and take our 1.5 year old daughter to New Jersey. I knew she wasn't bluffing when I saw an Uber charge on my account.
To prevent her from having a nervous breakdown and saving my marriage. I made an agreement with her; if she can find a F/T day job, I would find a F/T night job and stay with the kids during the day. Everybody knows in this economy you can't afford to have only one parent working when your riding the poverty line. Well she held up her end bargain. Now it was my turn but my plan seemed to have backfired.
I sacrificed my good job to save my marriage and my family; everything I agreed to pay for is past due.The bright spot was that I did find night time. The draw back, I lost my car in the midst starting this new job. And it is not on a bus route. The $3000 is help with the partial amount to buy a reliable car. The rest of the payment will have to come from my retirement.
From there, I can start this job and start catching up on my portion of the bills and more importantly the rent. Thank you for having the patience to read this.
