My husband Liam Gooley and I are currently hosting a beautiful Ukrainian refugee family that have recently arrived in Sydney after fleeing the war in Ukraine. They have no friends or family here - other than the new connections that they are making within our wonderful community here in the Sutherland Shire.

They arrived with only a small backpack of essentials and spoke very limited English.

We are having a front yard fundraiser event on Sunday 19th to raise money for the family to help them establish their new lives here in Sydney. We are setting up market stalls with cakes, toys, clothes and will have a sausage sizzle. Please come along to 3 Percival Road on Sunday 19th between 10 am to 1pm.

For those kind people who would like to contribute but won’t be able to attend the fundraiser event, or for those angels who would like to do both, please use this page to donate. All funds raised will be donated directly to this beautiful Ukrainian family to help them start their new lives here in Sydney.
