A member of our academy needs our help! As a career martial artist Cynthia Crawford has had some injuries in her lifelong journey. A recent concussion from 3.5 months ago has turned a bit more serious for Cynthia. As her concussion symptoms have resided she has been left with some serious hearing loss in her left ear after receiving an accidental blow to the head. Through multiple doctor examinations, surgery seems that it is not the correct option at the time or an option at all . To make things a bit more troubling she has sustained hearing loss in her right ear from the past.
Most times in life money doesn't solve problems. In this case it may not solve a problem completely but it may make a huge difference in her quality of life.
It's times like these I call upon members of this martial arts family to lift up a spirit and show Cynthia our support! I would hope we would do it for any single member if the role was reversed.
In conclusion , Medical insurance does not pay for hearing aids and the do pay for complicated surgery which isn't an option at this time. ! Those who know hearing aids know they are extremely expensive!
