World Spearfishing Championship, Laredo, Spain

Hi, my name is Keiren Limpus. I commenced spearfishing in 2008 in Bundaberg. I regularly compete at the Club, State, and National level. In 2021, I achieved the Qld State Champion (pairs competition, with Trevor Ketchion), and in 2022, I was on the winning four person team for the National Championship (with Bryson Sheehy, Tim McDonald, and Trevor Ketchion). I hold numerous Club, State and National Spearfishing records.

I am active in the sport and conduct spearfishing courses through my business, Underwater Finatics. I work full time in the retail spearfishing/freediving industry.

It is an honor to represent Australia as one of two people on the Australian team, it is going to cost approximately $15,000 each to go, and unfortunately, it is completely self funded. I am seeking financial assistance for us to go to Spain to make Australia proud.
