World Scout Jamboree 2023 Faye Chipperfield

My name is Faye Chipperfield. I am 15 years old. Recently I was selected to represent the UK at the World Scout Jamboree to be held in South Korea in 2023.

In Summer 2023 I will be one of 3,240 young people that have been selected from the UK to join more than 40,000 young people taking part in the World Scout Jamboree. The Jamboree is a skills, cultural and adventure festival happening in sensational and scenic South Korea. WSJ happens every four years, each time hosted by a different country, and I am proud to be representing the UK contingent.

WSJ 2023 offers young people the chance to learn new skills that they can use in other aspects of their life as well as campaign for change on key world issues that matter.

Between now and July 2023 I will attend training camps and team building events in preparation for living on the hot and humid site in SaeManGeum, Korea.

I am looking forward to making lots of new friends as well as having fantastic life shaping experiences and adventures, together with scouts from all over the world.

For this to happen, I need to fundraise to reach my target of £4,000. By donating, you will not only be helping me achieve my dreams, but also enabling Scouts in less fortunate countries to attend WSJ2023

The money raised will cover the entire cost of the trip.
