World of Henna: Morocco Production

WOW! Between the amazing power of crowd funding and grants, we covered the post-production costs of our first feature-length documentary, World of Henna: India! We entered a few film festivals and were so thrilled to win the Portland filmmakers award at the 2021 Portland Film Festival!

Such a huge thank you to all of you who contributed to our project. All of your donations spurred us on through the hundreds of hours of editing!

 

NOW: we embark upon the quest to film the second movie in our docu-series, the Moroccan Edition!

We have made some additions and upgrades to our very minimalist filming kits, and have our plane tickets booked for March 8th! We will spend 5 weeks in Morocco to film and then return for the editing process.

 

Our new go fund me will help to cover the costs of a translator and driver in Morocco for portions of the journey, and of course, the post-production mastering expenses.
