World Junior Championships 2020

Liam Sweeney is a 16 year old Taekwondo athlete, fighting -68kg in the junior division. Liam has represented Australia winning multiple medals at G ranked international events. With 5 national titles, Liam will fight to represent Australia at the World Junior Championships being held in Sofia, Bulgaria 2020.

The selection process for the team is rigorous with training camps and international tournaments a basic requirement. In order to realise his ambition, Liam must participate and succeed in, a comprehensive list of events, which are neither funded or subsidised. The estimated cost of attending these events, will be in the region of $25,000 for which we are actively seeking donations and sponsors.
