Woodcote high school new Canteen 2020

We are raising funds to help build another canteen at our school. we have over 1200 students on our roll and our canteen is too small to manage the students through lunch and a lot of our students end up lining up for their whole lunch time. With the small canteen we are also not able to plan for a sit down lunchtime experience and end up preparing  a reduced menu served in disposable plates and a new canteen will help us move to a more sustainable operation with real plates and washable and reusable cutlery and reduce our plastic and waste footprint. With COVID-19 we also are not able to plan for any social distancing so a new canteen would really help us in our efforts to space our students better. We are a good school with amazing teachers and students and we know that our community would greatly benefit from a new canteen on site.
