Most of our lives have been, or will be touched by cancer.
In fact, 1 in 3 people will contract cancer by the age of 85. So if you are one of the lucky ones to escape this disease, it is likely someone close to you won't enjoy that same luck.

We are faced with an epidemic of breast cancer, with one in eight women suffering. And these numbers continue to rise.
The tragedy is, that after billions of dollars have been raised in pursuit of a cause/cure, the best we know, is that BEING A WOMAN, is the biggest risk factor.
I know, I am currently receiving treatment for a breast cancer diagnosis in Feb 2020. Unfortunately, this is my second brush with the disease in just five years.
This has been the toughest journey of my life. As I write, I have a daily reminder I am in treatment with the discomfort of a plastic device (port) embedded in my chest where I receive regular herceptin infusions and watch impatiently as my hair and eyelashes slowly grow back in.
I would love to see the day that no woman (or man) must suffer, because we have found a cause, and eventually, a cure.
To this end, I have created “A Healing Journal” for women going through cancer treatment.
This Journal is consciously designed to assist in mindfully navigating this bumpy terrain. Designed to assist and support women in their struggle, with ease and grace. In going through treatment I trusted my doctors would successfully remove the irregular cells growing in my body but there was little support for the emotional upheaval and mental anguish I felt whilst being subjected to a bevy of tests and treatments.
This journal is like a big hug, a daily reminder that she is not alone. This is the book I wished I had received when I was first diagnosed.
The journal will assist to create a special place for women to heal their body, mind, and soul, whilst receiving guidance and support from a woman who’s been there.
Proceeds from the Journal will be directed to critical research in finding a cause for this disease, so we can put an end to breast cancer, forever.
As we move forward we will also be creating an online community for people who are going through the toughest time of their lives. Cancer treatment is not a solo journey, but one which requires a community of loving support.
