Women of Lancaster - Green Heritage Plaques

David Morgan is organizing this fundraiser to benefit THE LANCASTER CIVIC SOCIETY.

Lancaster Civic Vision and Lancaster City Museum are raising funds to erect Green Heritage Plaques to commemorate the lives and achievements of:
 
  • Mary Fielding - Botanist and illustrator Mary Fielding (nee Simpson) was born in Lancaster in 1804
  • Jennie Harris - Footballer, played for Lancaster Ladies and Dick Kerr Ladies, Preston
  • Selina Martin - Suffragette and campaigner for women's rights movement
